A New Beginning

It’s not like she wanted to leave. She loves change, she loves adventure, but not at the expense of saying goodbye to everyone she loves.

How is it her fault? Why does she have to suffer through this? Two people fell in love, and then out of love, and she’s the one who has to be put through hell? It didn’t make sense.

She’s a good girl. She’s done everything right for the past 14 years. The best grades, the kindest daughter, she’s always tried to be the best. And what thanks does she get? Being moved halfway across the country, to the worst place she could ever imagine.

It wasn’t fair.
